I have been the Patient Care Coordinator for a general dental practice in Overland Park for the past 13 years, and have been in the dental field for 26 years.

We recently began offering our patients, without insurance, an opportunity to sign up for private dental coverage. The acceptance has been quite successful for our office, and our patients embrace the idea of having some type of third party assistance that allows them to choose the type of optimum care that our office provides. They appreciate knowing they can stay a part of our dental practice, and not be governed by "discount or downgraded" coverage. Nor is their care dictated by or limited to, such programs.

This letter is for other dentists who are considering joining the Alliance.

I have been using the Private Dental Plan and the American Dental Alliance Plan Program since it's inception in July 2002 and I want to tell other doctors how well it is working for me. This is by far the most profitable plan that I have been associated with and works better for me than any insurance plan available. I have been writing off huge adjustments from insurance companies and with ADAP, the large monthly income helps my cash flow. We get paid faster and the UCR is surprisingly good.

The best aspect that I have noticed is how easily it works for the front office staff. My office manager has a lot less work with the ADAP plan than any other insurance plans because there are no claim forms and the patient knows exactly what they owe.

I wanted to let other doctors know how well the American Dental Alliance Plan and the Private Dental Plan Program works for me. I do not take any dental plans and participate in only two insurance plans besides this. The ADAP program works well for me because of the high monthly income and ease of the administration of it. The plan works well for patients who are not eligible for insurance and helps sell our treatment plans. The Program is financially beneficial to both the patient and our office.

I would highly recommend the ADAP Program to any dental office and each should take a serious look at our program. Our Alliance of dentists now has a way to compete against the insurance companies.

The American Dental Alliance Plan program was set up to benefit the dentist. It does that better for us more than any other plan that I've been involved with and unfortunately, I've been with more than a few. I decided to join the day I added up all of my write-offs on the plans that I participate in. I am now making more money with fewer patients because of ADAP.

I get high quality patients from ADAP and have more control with patient treatment planning. There is no plan administrator, who knows nothing about my practice, trying to figure out how not to pay me. You don't have to worry about denials or spending time figuring out the insurance company's game.

The ADAP program is so easy to work with and it has had a tremendous positive impact on my practice. My patients prefer the ADAP plan because they know what they are getting and can get the dental care they want. I love the ADAP Program and I don't know why any office wouldn't consider this.

As office manager of a major dental practice located in south Overland Park, I have found that the American Dental Alliance Plan and Private Dental Plan Program are the best compared to all other dental plans or insurance plans. The plan is simple to use and yet is very profitable. The best part about it is that nobody is telling you how you can or can't treat patients. The amount of co-pay is clear to understand and there is no guess work for either the patient or us.

The Alliance UCR is competitive fee schedule that is in line with the cost of dentistry in the Kansas City (Johnson County) area. With the consistent, large monthly income and the ease in which the Program is run, this is by far the best plan available to the Kansas City area dental offices.

I am writing this because this Program is something that I believe in and I hope that other dental offices consider joining our group. The more dental offices that we have, the stronger we will be as a group.

Dr. V. Michael Bono has participated with both the ADAP and the in house dental plans for approximately 5 years.

Over this short time we have acquired over 26 new families. These families have all been great patients. They have been accepting of their treatment plans and have been responsible in keeping their appointments and commitments to their accounts.

Both plans have saved tremendous time on collecting and billing. Our office has saved precious time that has enabled us to dedicate to our patients. This allows us to be more productive and keep costs down by not having to submit claims, verify coverage, and call on status of claims.

This plan is the only plan that I would suggest to any DDS considering contracting with. This is also the only plan out there that benefits both the doctor and patient!
